Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the services provided by Vanguard Sports Lab, trading as Team Building Mauritius ("we", "us", "our"), through the website www.teambuilding.mu and any related event booking. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Booking & Confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit and written confirmation from our team. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

2. Payment Terms

  • A deposit is required to secure your booking. The deposit amount will be specified at the time of quotation.
  • The remaining balance is due no later than 7 business days before the event date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, card, or other methods as communicated during booking.
  • All prices are quoted in Mauritian Rupees (MUR) unless stated otherwise.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event: full refund minus a 10% administration fee.
  • Cancellations made 7-14 days before the event: 50% of the total cost is retained.
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event: no refund.
  • Weather-related reschedules are accommodated at no additional cost, subject to venue and date availability.

4. Liability & Safety

  • Participants are responsible for assessing their own physical fitness for the activities booked. Medical conditions should be disclosed to us prior to the event.
  • We provide comprehensive public liability insurance for all events.
  • A safety briefing is given before every activity. Participants are expected to follow instructions from facilitators at all times.
  • Vanguard Sports Lab shall not be held liable for injuries arising from a participant's failure to follow safety instructions or from pre-existing medical conditions.

5. Intellectual Property

Photographs and videos taken during events may be used by Team Building Mauritius for marketing, social media, and promotional purposes. If you or your organisation wish to opt out, please notify us in writing at least 48 hours before the event.

6. Changes to Events

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to event programmes, venues, or schedules due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. We will notify clients of any material changes as soon as practicable.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius.
